First-Time & Nervous Botox and Filler Clients

Questions are always welcome

Is Reveille a good place for my first Botox treatment?

Yes. First-time Botox clients are a great fit for Reveille because Patricia takes a conservative, education-first approach. Your facial movement, anatomy, concerns, and goals are evaluated before treatment. Recommendations are explained clearly, and you never have to treat more than you are comfortable with.

I'm nervous about getting Botox. Is that normal?

Absolutely. Many people are nervous before their first Botox or neurotoxin appointment. Common concerns include looking frozen, receiving too much product, discomfort, or simply not knowing what to expect. Patricia explains the process before treatment and encourages questions so you can make an informed decision without feeling rushed.

Will Botox make me look frozen or unnatural?

It does not have to. Reveille focuses on natural-looking results and preserving appropriate facial expression. Dosing and placement are customized to your anatomy and goals rather than using the same treatment pattern for every client. The goal is to look refreshed while still looking like yourself.

Can I start with a small amount of Botox?

Yes. A conservative starting plan is often appropriate for someone receiving neurotoxin treatment for the first time or anyone who prefers subtle results. Patricia can discuss what a conservative treatment may realistically accomplish and whether additional treatment may be appropriate later.

How do I choose a Botox injector in San Antonio?

Look beyond price alone. Consider the injector's medical background, training, understanding of facial anatomy, aesthetic judgment, safety practices, communication style, and whether treatment is individualized. At Reveille, injectable treatments are performed by Patricia Scogin, BSN, RN, so clients receive continuity from the same injector.

What should I expect at my first Botox appointment?

Your appointment begins with an assessment and conversation about your goals, facial movement, medical history, and desired outcome. Recommendations, estimated dosing, pricing, risks, expected results, and aftercare are discussed before treatment is performed.

What if I don't know whether I need Botox or filler?

You do not need to know before you arrive. Botox-style neurotoxins primarily address muscle movement, while filler can provide structure, volume, contour, or balance when appropriate. Patricia can evaluate your concerns and explain which option, if any, makes sense for your goals.

Will Patricia tell me if she doesn't think I need a treatment?

Yes. Reveille is an education-first practice, not a pressure-based sales environment. If a treatment is not appropriate, is unlikely to accomplish your goal, or Patricia believes a more conservative approach would be better, she will discuss that with you.

Can I ask questions before deciding whether to get Botox or filler?

Yes. Questions are encouraged. Reveille also offers a free 15-minute virtual consultation for people who want guidance before choosing an appointment or deciding whether a service may be appropriate for them.

Will I know the price before I am treated?

Yes. Reveille believes in transparent pricing. Your recommended treatment and expected cost are discussed before treatment so you can decide whether you want to proceed.

Safety, Training & Choosing an Injector

Because who is holding the syringe matters

Who performs Botox and filler at Reveille Botox & Beyond?

Injectable aesthetic treatments at Reveille are performed by Patricia Scogin, BSN, RN. Reveille is a single-injector practice, which means clients receive consistent aesthetic care from the same Registered Nurse injector rather than rotating among multiple injectors.

What is Patricia Scogin's medical background?

Patricia Scogin, BSN, RN, is a Registered Nurse and the owner and injector at Reveille Botox & Beyond. Her clinical background includes intensive care nursing. She has completed advanced education in neurotoxins, dermal fillers, injectable aesthetics, facial anatomy, and complication awareness. You can learn more about Patricia here.

Has Patricia completed advanced anatomy and cadaver training?

Yes. Patricia has completed advanced injectable education and cadaver-based facial anatomy training. Ongoing anatomy and safety education are important parts of her approach to aesthetic medicine.

What makes an aesthetic injector safe?

Safety involves more than injection technique. Medical training, facial anatomy knowledge, individualized assessment, informed consent, appropriate product selection, sanitation, emergency preparedness, documentation, complication awareness, and knowing when not to treat are all important.

What is a Good Faith Exam?

A Good Faith Exam, or GFE, is a medical evaluation used to establish medical appropriateness for applicable services. At Reveille, the annual GFE is completed by a qualified provider and costs $35 when required.

Does Reveille continue training and education?

Yes. Continuing education is part of Reveille's commitment to maintaining current knowledge of facial anatomy, injectable techniques, treatment planning, product use, safety protocols, and complication awareness.

Botox & Neurotoxin Questions

Natural movement. Individualized dosing.

Where can I get natural-looking Botox in San Antonio?

Reveille Botox & Beyond offers personalized neurotoxin treatments in San Antonio with a focus on natural-looking results and individualized dosing. Patricia evaluates facial movement and anatomy rather than following the same treatment pattern for every client. Learn more about Botox and filler at Reveille.

Does Reveille offer Botox alternatives such as Jeuveau or Daxxify?

Yes. Reveille offers multiple neurotoxin options, including Jeuveau and Daxxify. Product selection depends on your goals, previous treatment experience, anatomy, preferences, and clinical appropriateness.

How much Botox or neurotoxin will I need?

There is no universal number of units. Dosing varies based on muscle strength, anatomy, treatment area, desired movement, previous response, and the specific neurotoxin used. Patricia develops an individualized dosing plan after assessing you.

How long do Botox-style neurotoxins last?

Duration varies by product, dose, treatment area, metabolism, muscle activity, and individual response. Many neurotoxin treatments last several months, but your personal experience may be shorter or longer.

When will I see results from Botox or neurotoxin treatment?

Results develop gradually. Many clients begin noticing changes within several days, while the full effect can take approximately 10 to 14 days depending on the product and treatment area.

What areas can neurotoxins treat?

Depending on anatomy and clinical appropriateness, neurotoxins may be used for areas including forehead lines, frown lines, crow's feet, brow positioning, lip flip, chin dimpling, DAO area, masseters, platysmal bands, nasalis lines, and select specialty treatment areas.

Does Botox hurt?

Most clients find neurotoxin injections very tolerable. Treatment is generally quick and performed with a very small needle. Sensitivity varies by person and treatment area.

Can Botox still look natural?

Yes. Natural-looking neurotoxin treatment depends on thoughtful dosing, placement, anatomy, and the client's goals. Reveille's approach prioritizes softening unwanted movement while maintaining an appearance that still feels like you.

Filler & Facial Balancing Questions

Enhancement without an overfilled look

Is Reveille a good place for my first filler appointment?

Yes. First-time filler clients are a great fit for Reveille because treatment is education-first and conservative. Patricia reviews your anatomy, concerns, goals, product options, expected changes, risks, and pricing before treatment. You do not need to know which filler or how much you need before your appointment.

I'm nervous about filler. Can I start conservatively?

Yes. Reveille favors a gradual approach when appropriate. Some clients begin with a smaller amount or a staged treatment plan so changes can be subtle and balanced rather than dramatic or overfilled.

Where can I get natural-looking lip filler in San Antonio?

Reveille offers lip filler in San Antonio with an emphasis on proportion, shape, hydration, and facial harmony. Patricia's goal is not to create the same lips on every client but to develop a treatment plan that complements your individual features.

Will my lip filler look natural?

Natural-looking lip filler is possible when product choice, amount, placement, anatomy, and proportions are considered carefully. Reveille favors a conservative approach and clients can build gradually over time.

What is facial balancing?

Facial balancing evaluates how multiple facial features relate to one another rather than focusing on one feature in isolation. Filler may be strategically placed in areas such as the cheeks, chin, jawline, lips, or other appropriate areas to improve overall proportion and harmony.

How much filler will I need?

The appropriate amount depends on your anatomy, goals, treatment area, existing volume, and desired degree of change. Some clients prefer a small, subtle treatment while facial balancing may require a staged plan over time.

Can filler be dissolved?

Hyaluronic acid filler can often be dissolved with hyaluronidase when clinically appropriate. Whether dissolving is recommended depends on the filler, treatment area, reason for dissolving, and individual assessment.

Do I have to use a full syringe of lip filler?

Not necessarily. Reveille offers treatment options for clients who want a more conservative approach. Patricia can discuss whether a half-syringe or full-syringe treatment is appropriate for your anatomy and goals.

Liquid Nose Job & Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty

Profile refinement without surgery

Does Reveille offer nonsurgical rhinoplasty in San Antonio?

Yes. Reveille offers nonsurgical rhinoplasty, sometimes called a liquid nose job, for appropriate candidates in San Antonio. Patricia uses a highly individualized approach based on nasal anatomy, profile, proportions, goals, and safety considerations.

What is a liquid nose job?

A liquid nose job is a nonsurgical treatment that uses dermal filler to strategically alter the appearance of the nose in carefully selected candidates. It can create visual changes in contour and profile without surgically changing the underlying nasal structure.

Can filler improve the appearance of a bump on my nose?

In selected candidates, strategically placed filler may visually camouflage certain contour irregularities or create a straighter-looking profile. It does not remove a dorsal hump or make the nose physically smaller, so an assessment is important to determine whether nonsurgical treatment can realistically accomplish your goal.

Is everyone a candidate for a liquid nose job?

No. The nose is a complex, higher-risk filler treatment area and nonsurgical rhinoplasty is not appropriate for everyone. Anatomy, previous procedures, medical history, skin and tissue characteristics, treatment goals, and other factors must be evaluated before treatment.

Who performs liquid nose jobs at Reveille?

Nonsurgical rhinoplasty treatments at Reveille are performed by Patricia Scogin, BSN, RN. Each treatment is planned individually with particular attention to anatomy, proportion, conservative correction, and safety.

How much is a liquid nose job at Reveille?

Reveille's current regular price for a liquid nose job is $1,000. Members receive eligible membership savings according to current membership terms. Treatment is only performed when Patricia determines that nonsurgical rhinoplasty is appropriate for the client's anatomy and goals.

Medical Weight Loss in San Antonio, Alamo Ranch & Across Texas

Beginner-friendly virtual care for eligible Texas residents

I'm new to GLP-1 weight loss. Is Reveille a good place to start?

Yes. Reveille is designed to support both first-time and experienced medical weight loss patients. New patients receive screening, required provider evaluation, treatment education, RN support, and ongoing follow-up. You do not need to know which medication or dose you need before scheduling. Learn more about Reveille's medical weight loss program.

Do you offer medical weight loss near Alamo Ranch?

Yes. Reveille Botox & Beyond is based in San Antonio near Alamo Ranch and Far West San Antonio. The medical weight loss program is offered virtually to eligible Texas residents, so local patients and qualifying patients throughout Texas can participate.

Do I have to increase my GLP-1 dose every month?

Not necessarily. Dose decisions are individualized. Treatment response, appetite control, tolerance, side effects, goals, and clinical appropriateness are considered before changes are made. Any dose adjustment must follow prescribing-provider direction.

Do you offer GLP-1 maintenance or lower-dose options?

Appropriate patients may use individualized maintenance or lower-dose strategies under provider direction. Reveille does not use a one-size-fits-all escalation plan. Treatment is based on clinical response, tolerance, goals, and the prescribing provider's judgment.

What about GLP-1 microdosing?

"Microdosing" is commonly used online to describe lower-dose approaches, but it is not a standardized medical dosing term. Reveille uses individualized dosing. When clinically appropriate, the prescribing provider may consider lower-dose or maintenance strategies based on the patient's response, goals, and tolerance.

What if I'm worried about GLP-1 side effects?

Questions and concerns are encouraged. Reveille provides RN education and follow-up to help patients understand common treatment effects, monitor tolerance, and recognize when a concern should be escalated to the prescribing provider or evaluated urgently.

Can I transfer to Reveille if I'm already taking a GLP-1?

Patients already receiving medical weight loss treatment may schedule with Reveille for evaluation. Current medication, dose, treatment history, response, side effects, medical history, and eligibility are reviewed before any prescription or treatment plan is continued or changed.

Does Reveille offer virtual medical weight loss in Texas?

Yes. Eligible Texas patients can complete applicable weight loss visits virtually. Provider evaluation and medical eligibility are required, and medications may be shipped directly from the pharmacy when prescribed and clinically appropriate.

Does Reveille offer semaglutide for weight loss?

Semaglutide may be prescribed for eligible patients after individual medical evaluation when the treating provider determines it is clinically appropriate. Reveille provides provider-guided medical weight loss rather than a one-size-fits-all medication plan.

Does Reveille offer tirzepatide for weight loss?

Tirzepatide may be prescribed for eligible patients after medical evaluation when clinically appropriate. Treatment decisions are individualized and require appropriate provider oversight.

How much does medical weight loss cost at Reveille?

Reveille publishes transparent 5-week weight loss pricing so patients can review current costs before getting started. Pricing varies according to the treatment and dose prescribed. The annual Good Faith Exam is $35, and current medication and shipping pricing is available on the Medical Weight Loss page.

Are weight loss medications shipped directly to me?

When medication is prescribed and medically appropriate, the pharmacy ships the medication directly to the patient. This allows eligible Texas patients to participate in the program without routinely traveling to Reveille's San Antonio location solely to pick up medication.

Will I have medical oversight during the weight loss program?

Yes. Reveille's program includes provider-guided care, eligibility screening, RN education and follow-up support, and individualized treatment guidance. Prescription treatment is not appropriate for everyone, and medical decisions are based on individual evaluation.

What happens after I reach my goal weight?

Appropriate patients may transition into an individualized maintenance strategy. Weight stability, appetite control, treatment response, tolerance, health goals, and provider recommendations are considered when planning continued care.

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) in San Antonio & Across Texas

Virtual provider-guided care with labs and ongoing monitoring

I'm new to HRT. Is Reveille a good place to start?

Yes. Reveille is designed for patients who want a clear process and guidance rather than feeling like they have to figure hormone care out alone. The program includes provider evaluation, laboratory testing, individualized treatment recommendations, RN coordination and support, and ongoing monitoring. Learn more about Reveille's HRT program.

Do you offer HRT near Alamo Ranch?

Yes. Reveille is based in San Antonio near Alamo Ranch and Far West San Antonio. The HRT program is primarily virtual for eligible Texas residents, so local patients and qualifying patients throughout Texas can participate.

How do I know if my symptoms could be hormone-related?

Symptoms can overlap with many medical conditions, so HRT should not be based on symptoms alone. The provider reviews your symptoms, medical history, medications, risk factors, and laboratory results to determine whether hormone treatment may be appropriate.

What happens at my first HRT appointment?

The process begins with intake and provider evaluation. Laboratory testing is ordered as appropriate, results are reviewed by the provider, and treatment is recommended only when clinically appropriate. Reveille then helps coordinate the next steps and ongoing follow-up.

Will someone explain my HRT lab results?

Yes. Laboratory results are reviewed as part of the clinical process rather than treated as numbers in isolation. The provider considers your results together with symptoms, history, treatment goals, and safety factors when making recommendations.

How is my HRT dose determined?

Hormone treatment is individualized. Medication choice and dosing depend on the provider's clinical assessment, laboratory findings, symptoms, medical history, treatment response, and safety considerations. Patients should not adjust prescribed hormone doses on their own.

What if I have side effects or don't feel better on HRT?

HRT requires follow-up. Symptoms, treatment response, side effects, and laboratory findings are monitored over time so the provider can determine whether continued treatment or an adjustment may be appropriate.

Can I transfer my HRT care to Reveille if I'm already on treatment?

Existing HRT patients may schedule for evaluation. The provider will review your current medications, dose, prior labs, treatment history, symptoms, response, and medical history before deciding whether treatment should be continued or changed.

Does Reveille offer HRT for women?

Yes. Reveille offers individualized hormone care for eligible women after provider evaluation and appropriate laboratory testing. Treatment recommendations depend on symptoms, medical history, laboratory results, and clinical assessment.

Does Reveille offer HRT for men?

Yes. Eligible men can be evaluated for hormone replacement therapy through Reveille's virtual HRT program. Laboratory testing, provider assessment, and ongoing monitoring are used to guide treatment decisions.

Are labs required for HRT?

Laboratory testing is part of Reveille's HRT process. Labs help the provider evaluate hormone levels, determine whether treatment may be appropriate, and monitor care over time. Reveille uses Quest Diagnostics for laboratory testing.

Can HRT appointments be completed virtually?

Yes. Reveille's HRT program uses virtual provider visits for eligible Texas residents. The process includes evaluation, laboratory review, individualized treatment recommendations, and ongoing monitoring.

How much does HRT cost at Reveille?

Reveille uses straightforward HRT pricing. Virtual provider visits are $35. Current medication pricing is $175 for an 8-week women's supply and $175 for a 5-week men's supply when prescribed. Laboratory costs are handled separately through Quest Diagnostics and may be billed through insurance or self-pay.

How are HRT patients monitored?

HRT requires ongoing clinical monitoring. Follow-up visits and laboratory testing are used to evaluate response, safety, and whether treatment adjustments may be appropriate. The exact monitoring schedule is individualized according to the provider's clinical recommendations.

What makes Reveille's HRT program different?

Reveille combines the convenience of virtual care with a more personal support model. Patients receive provider-led evaluation and prescribing, Quest laboratory testing, RN coordination and follow-up support, medication shipping when prescribed, and ongoing monitoring rather than a one-time online prescription experience.

What Makes Reveille Different?

Personalized care without the assembly-line feel

What makes Reveille Botox & Beyond different from other med spas in San Antonio?

Reveille is a boutique, single-injector practice. Injectable aesthetic clients work directly with Patricia Scogin, BSN, RN, rather than seeing a rotating team of injectors. The practice emphasizes clinical judgment, natural-looking results, transparent pricing, education, and individualized treatment.

Is Reveille a good fit if I'm new and have a lot of questions?

Yes. Reveille is intentionally education-first across Botox, filler, medical weight loss, and HRT. You are not expected to arrive knowing exactly what treatment, product, medication, or dose you need. The goal is to explain your options clearly, answer questions, and help you make an informed decision without pressure.

What makes Reveille's medical weight loss program different?

Reveille is designed for patients who want guidance, not just a prescription. The program combines provider evaluation and prescribing oversight with RN education, follow-up support, transparent pricing, individualized dosing, and maintenance planning when clinically appropriate.

What makes Reveille's HRT program different?

Reveille combines virtual convenience with provider-led evaluation, Quest laboratory testing, RN coordination and support, individualized treatment, medication shipping when prescribed, and ongoing monitoring so patients are not left to navigate hormone care alone.

Will I see the same injector every time?

Yes. Patricia performs Reveille's injectable aesthetic treatments, allowing her to learn your anatomy, treatment history, preferences, response, and long-term goals over time.

Does Reveille pressure clients to buy more treatment?

No. Recommendations are based on anatomy, goals, clinical appropriateness, and what Patricia believes will create a balanced result. Clients are encouraged to ask questions, start conservatively when appropriate, and make informed decisions without pressure.

Does Reveille specialize in natural-looking results?

Yes. Natural-looking treatment is central to Reveille's aesthetic philosophy. The goal is not to make every client look the same or visibly "done." Treatment is designed to enhance your individual features while maintaining balance and an appearance that still feels like you.

Is Reveille a good fit if I want subtle results?

Yes. Reveille is especially well suited to clients who prefer conservative treatment, subtle enhancement, facial harmony, and a long-term approach rather than dramatic or trend-driven changes.

Why does choosing the right injector matter?

The product itself is only one part of an injectable result. Assessment, anatomy, dosing, placement, technique, aesthetic judgment, safety practices, and treatment planning all influence the outcome. That is why Reveille's philosophy is simple: who is holding the syringe matters.
