- Good Faith Exam (GFE): An annual GFE with our Nurse Practitioner is required for neurotoxin and dermal filler services. Fee: $35.
- FDA-Approved Products: We use FDA-approved neurotoxins and dermal fillers. Some treatment areas/techniques may be off-label and discussed at consult.
- Assessment & Informed Consent: Candidacy, dosing, and product selection are customized. All medical risks, benefits, and alternatives are reviewed before treatment.
- Contraindications (non-exhaustive): pregnancy/breastfeeding, active infection/inflammation at site, neuromuscular disorders (for toxin), allergy to ingredients, bleeding disorders, recent procedures (timing reviewed).
- Variability: Results vary with anatomy, lifestyle, and metabolism. Touch-ups or multiple sessions may be recommended for optimal outcomes.
- Aftercare: Avoid pressure, heavy exercise, and heat for 24 hours post-toxin; avoid massaging filler areas unless instructed. Bruising/swelling can occur.
- Urgent Concerns: Sudden vision changes, severe pain, or livedo/skin blanching after filler are emergencies — seek immediate care or call 911 and contact our clinic.
- Minors: Services for minors are limited; parent/guardian must be present and consent where permitted.
